The room was clean, warm and comfortable and the staff were courteous and helpful. Check in was very clear and straightforward. Parking was easy and the walk along the canal was pleasant to do before we left.

The peace and quite the overall setting the rabbits/ hare were a bonus we saw them playing on the lawn from our room window. The table service for breakfast. The food both at the hotel and the pastures lodge pub and restaurant was great. The bed was really big and comfy. The shower was a good size and easy to use.

Friendly and efficient staff. Spacious and very comfortable room (triple). Excellent bedding. Nice and comfortable bathroom. Dinner possible nearby (across the car park). Very good breakfast, mainly for Englisch breakfast and variants; also yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, cereals, croissants available. Very quiet venue with ample parking but somewhat faraway from the motorway.

The staff were brilliant. The service was excellent, The room was clean, As was the W.C. Facilities For the room, Loved the lighting options. & the speed of how fast the Ater heated For the shower, thinking of getting that style shower For my home!

We stayed in the rockingham suite. It was beautiful and spacious the bathroom was stunning. The best shower I’ve ever been in jets coming from every angle. Bed was huge and comfortable and the staff were welcoming and lovely! Tea and coffee provided, iron in the wardrobe and a safe for valuables. There was also toiletries which is amazing if you forget to bring some. Little extra bits that you wouldn’t expect for example tv in the bathroom a docking station for iPhone, flute glasses. If I was going back to that area I would definitely stay again, even the lobby was beautiful.

The room was a great size and had everything you could want. The only thing we found was a little bit of mould on the wall paper by the window and in the bathroom. Breakfast was a really good buffet style, which was all freshly cooked and replenished quickly. The croissants were warmed for you as you wanted them and served to at the table. There was a good selection of hot and cold food to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and could not be faulted.

The hotel was in a lovely scenic location and had its own restaurant and bar but also had a second lodge on the other side of car park which provided a lot of choice. Loads of free car parking spaces right outside and the hotel was immaculate with plenty of space. The staff were all lovely and welcoming and plenty of choice for breakfast. Continental options and drinks were buffet style and you can order a hot breakfast too.

The staff were most welcoming and helpful. It was obvious all the staff we encountered work hard to make our experience memorable, from Michelle on reception to the lovely night porter who made us tea and coffee and the ladies on breakfast and those that cleaned our room. They all made a difference which we appreciated.

Clean throughout the property. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Airy spacious comfortable dining area. Comfortable bed. Nice to have an adjustable heating system in the bedroom. Little canal walk right by the property was a nice surprise. Good food in the pub opposite. Worth the detour off the M1 to break the journey going further North.
